- The second game of the series proved to be no different from the first as both defenses dominated.
- It wouldn't be until 4:11 remained in the game that Lake Forest would break the scoreless tie.
- Marian spent 1:18 with an extra attacker but were unable to find an equalizer.

- Lake Forest outshot Marian in all three periods and finished with a 46-24 edge.
- It was a penalty filled game but neither squad could light the lamp on the power play. Marian would have seven chances and Lake Forest had 10 opportunities.
- The Foresters held a 40-28 advantage on face offs.
