Chelsea King of Marian University women's soccer has been named the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
King (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) had two strong performances in goal to lead Marian to a spot in the NACC Tournament. King made 19 saves on the week allowing just two goals for a .905 save percentage.  She made seven saves in a 3-1 win over Lakeland before stopping another 12 shots in a 1-1 stalemate with Edgewood.  Her performance against the Eagles was the fourth time this season with double-digit saves.

Marian hits the road for the opening round of the NACC Tournament Saturday, Nov. 2. Their opponent will be determined based on the results from the final day of NACC play tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30.
