- The Bulldogs were able to pull away scoring three goals in the second period to build a 4-0 lead.
- Marian was able to find the back of the net when seniors Sydney Schipper and Michaela Powers teamed up for a power-play goal at the 6:23 mark to put the Sabre deficit at 4-1.
- The Bulldogs responded with two power-play scores of their own to set the final at 6-1.
