FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's volleyball (15-7, 6-4 NACC) fell to Dominican in a back-and-fourth three set match 27-25, 25-22, 25-22.

- Marian came out the gates running with a quick 4-0 lead but the Stars cooled off the Sabres with a 7-3 run.
- The two teams would trade points before a 4-1 run by the Stars pushed its lead to three at 14-11.
- Dominican pushed its lead to four at 18-14 but Marian crawled back in with a 5-0 run to regain the lead 19-18.Â
- The Sabres extended its lead with a 3-1 advantage before a 5-0 Dominican run gave the Stars the 24-22 lead.Â
- Marian was able to tie things up 24-24 and again 25-25 but Dominican closed out set one 27-25.Â
- Set two saw the Stars get out to an early 4-1 lead and forced a Marian timeout with a 6-4 run. Â
- Marian would go on to score four of the next five points to cut the Stars lead to two.Â
- A 5-2 Sabre run saw Marian take its first lead of set two before Dominican answered with its own 5-2 run.Â
- The three point Dominican lead proved to be the difference maker as an even 4-4 run would give the Stars a 2-0 set lead.Â
- Dominican once again got out to an early 5-3 lead which was followed up by a split 6-6 run between the two teams.
- A 4-0Â run gave the Sabres its first lead of set three.
- The two teams would trade points with multiple tie scores before Dominican took the lead 21-20 and did not surrender the lead the remainder of the set.Â
- Dominican would close out set three and the match with a 4-2 run.Â

- Both offenses had a strong day but Dominican held the advantage in kills 42-38 and hitting percentage .300-.233.Â
- Dominican held an 8-4 advantage in both aces and blocks.
- Marian was able to record an impressive .450 hitting percentage in the third set while recording double-digit kills in all three sets.
