FOND DU LAC - Marian University baseball (19-13, 12-6 NACC) scored in six of eight innings to defeat Elmhurst 14-8 in non-conference action.

- Elmhurst was able to start things quickly scoring three runs in the first inning.
- Marian responded in a big way scoring four runs in their half of the first inning.
- The Sabres would tack on two runs in the second with graduate student Dylan Pease and junior James Bornick each driving in a run to put MU ahead 6-3.
- A two-run homer put Elmhurst behind just one run in teh fourth, but Marian had an answer in the bottom half.
- Pease would drive in another run with a single before a balk allowed another run to score and put Marian ahead 8-5.
- Another two-run home run from Blue Jays in the fifth put Elmhurst behind just 8-7.
- Another strong response in the bottom half saw Marian extend its lead to 11-7 highlighted by a two-run homer from senior Andrew Schroeder.
- Marian would score a pair of runs in the sixth followed by a sacrifice fly from junior Gus Walker in the seventh to lead 14-7.
- Elmhurst loaded the bases in the eighth and were able to score once before junior Tanner Alsteen came in and shut the door.
- A quiet ninth from both sides put the final score at 18-4.
