LISLE, Ill. - Marian University men's lacrosse (1-6, 0-3 NACC) had a slow start and ultimately fell to Benedictine by a 20-8 final.

- Marian would trail 14-5 in the third quarter before Benedictine scored four unanswered to lead 18-5 after three quarters.
- The Sabres had their best quarter come in the fourth outscoring the Eagles 3-2 with Powless netting another pair of goals, one being a man-up score.

- The Eagles had a strong game on face offs as well winning 22 of the 30 draws.
