ADRIAN, Mich. - Freshman Sydney Magnuson of Marian University women's hockey has earned an NCHA Star of the Week selection.

Magnuson (Neillsville, Wis.) led Marian to a dramatic overtime victory over Aurora to finish a three-point weekend for the Sabres.  Magnuson made 22 saves for a .957 save percentage in the first Marian victory over Aurora since 2019.  The lone goal she allowed came while Aurora was on a power play.
