FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's volleyball (6-1, 1-0 NACC) earned a sweep over St. Norbert in its NACC opener with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, and 25-19.

- The Sabres maintained a comfortable lead and found themselves ahead 19-11.
- The Green Knights were able to cut their deficit down to four but Marian scored three of the final five points to take the set.

- SNC took its lead out to 19-16 before Marian was able to go on a 7-1 spurt to take a 23-20 lead.
- After back-to-back SNC points put the Marian lead at just one, the Sabres scored two straight to take a 2-0 lead.
- The third set opened at a 4-4 deadlock before the Sabres scored seven straight to lead 11-4.
- The Green Knights tried to force a fourth and cut their deficit down to 20-18.
- Marian was able to put the match away, however, scoring five of the final six points.

- Marian finished with a 36-31 advantage for kills and a 43-41 edge for digs.
- The Sabres had at least 10 kills in each set and finished with a .200 hitting percentage.
- Defensively, Marian held SNC to just .077 hitting forcing 23 attacking errors.
- This was the second sweep of the season for the Sabres.
- Marian is now 4-1 all-time against St. Norbert with back-to-back sweeps of the Green Knights.
