CANTON, Ga. - Senior Jikke Biemans of Marian University field hockey has been selected as the CFHC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Biemans (Rijen, Netherlands) helped lead Marian past Centre for the first time in program history.  She had her third multi-goal game of the season scoring late in the second quarter before netting the game-winner in overtime with just 1:59 left in the extra session.  Her third game-winning goal of the season helped improve Marian to 3-1 in overtime games this season.  Through 10 games, Biemans leads the CFHC with 23 total points and is second in the conference with 11 goals.

Marian hits the road for Virginia this weekend opening against Virginia Wesleyan Friday, Oct. 17 for a 4 p.m. (CDT) non-conference match.
