- Aiden Fitz scored the opening goal for the Warriors off a cross from the deep right corner at 26:40.Â
- The Sabres went into the break down 1-0 in a scrappy half of play; sophomore Brayden Johnson contributed two shots on goal in the half.Â
- Off the penalty kick attempt, senior Nathan Blazenko was able to capitalize with a goal at 55:13 to even the contest.
- In the 75th minute, freshman Szymon Kielar saw his shot attempt hit the left woodwork in what would have given the Sabres a lead.Â
- Marian had four shot attempts in the final 11 minutes of play, including two from Kielar, but none were enough to escape a 1-1 draw to Wisconsin Lutheran.Â
- Marian had an impressive 12-6 lead in the shots department, including an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal. Â
- The Sabres were held to one corner kick on the night, compared to the Warriors five.Â
- In another foul-heavy affair, Marian totaled 11 fouls and two yellow cards.
