Sabre women's soccer battles for draw with Wisconsin Lutheran

WAUWATOSA, WIS. - Marian University women's soccer (7-6-4, 4-4-2 NACC) scored in the 62nd minute to hold on for a tie with Wisconsin Lutheran, 1-1.

Wisconsin Lutheran closed the first half with a 1-0 lead, scored by Brooke Bluhm at 42:03.
The Sabres managed three shots, including two shots on goal in the first half.
Junior Sophia Romo evened the contest at 1-1 with her fourth goal of the season, unassisted at 62:54.
A shot on goal by sophomore Sofia Vizcarra in the 67th minute was the final shot attempt of the night for the Sabres.
Senior Chelsea King saved a potential goal in the final second to solidify the 1-1 tie with the Warriors.

Both teams were even with seven shots and five shots on goal.
The teams were also even in saves, with four on each side.
The Warriors held the advantage in corner kicks with a 6-2 lead.
