MILWAUKEE - Senior Chelsea King of Marian University women's soccer has been selected as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

King (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) helped lead Marian to a postseason spot with a tie against WLC and win versus CUC.  King opened the week with a four-save performance against WLC with three of her stops coming in the second half.  She then posted the 13th shutout of her career, third this season, in a 2-0 win over the Cougars.  King stopped all three Cougar attempts she faced.

Marian finishes the regular season tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 29, traveling to CUW for a 3:30 p.m. match.
