FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's ice hockey (2-3-0, 0-3-0 NCHA) was shutout for the third straight game falling to No. 6/6 St. Norbert 3-0.
- A defensive opening stanza saw neither team produce any goals with few shots.
- The Green Knights were able to end the scoreless stalemate with just 4:07 left in the second period.
- The 1-0 deficit stayed that way the rest of the period and most of the second.
- SNC was able to build its lead to 2-0 with 5:01 left in the third and sealed the win with an empty-net goal.
- St. Norbert had a 33-19 advantage on shots with 10 of the Marian shots coming in the final period.
- Neither side scored on the power play with SNC having three chances to only one for Marian.
- The Sabres had 22 face-off wins to 34 for the Green Knights.
- Marian has now dropped the last 16 meetings against SNC.
