FOND DU LAC - Marian University field hockey (10-5, 3-2 CFHC) clinched the No. 3 seed for the CFHC Tournament after defeating CUW 4-0.
 
	- The Sabres dominated the opening half, but similarly to the first meeting, the game went into halftime scoreless.
 
	- Marian was finally able to break through 6:41 into the third quarter when freshman Shaelyn Klassen was able to score.
 
	- The 1-0 lead held into the fourth quarter before Klassen scored her second of the game 1:19 into the final stanza.
 
	- Fellow freshman Charlotte Touw assisted the goal and then scored a goal of her own 3:24 later.
 
	- Seniors Allyson Nichols and Jikke Biemans teamed up for a goal with 1:57 left to put the final at 4-0.
 
 
	- Marian finished with a 16-6 advantage for shots and 12-4 edge for shots on goal.
 
	- Each team had five penalty corners, and Marian had 27 fouls to 24 for CUW.
 
	- The victory earns Marian the No. 3 seed for the CFHC Tournament, the second time in program history the Sabres have been the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament.
 
	- Marian sets a single-season record for wins with its 10th victory.
 
	- The Sabres are 9-1 all-time against CUW and will meet for the first time in the postseason.
