FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's basketball (6-16, 4-9 NACC) had a strong start but fell to Edgewood by a 68-58 final.

- Edgewood held an early 9-6 advantage before Marian went on a 10-2 run to lead by five with 2:26 left in the opening stanza.
- The Eagles chipped away at the Sabre lead but Marian went into the second quarter leading 18-17.
- Marian maintained a 23-21 lead but Edgewood went on an 11-1 spurt to lead 32-24.
- The Eagles then scored five unanswered to finish the quarter and go into halftime ahead 37-26.
- The start of the second half was closely contested but EC extended its lead to 59-43 going into the fourth.
- Edgewood led by as many as 20 points before Marian scored the next 12 points of the game to only trail 64-56 with 3:14 to play.
- The Eagles were able to overcome the late momentum shift and sealed the victory limiting Marian to just two points the rest of the way.

- Edgewood finished 24-of-67 (.358) and 8-of-27 (.296) on three-point attempts.
- The turnover slightly favored the Eagles at 13-12, but Edgewood outscored Marian 16-8 in points off turnovers.
- Marian falls to 22-47 all-time against the Eagles having dropped the last 10 meetings.
