FOND DU LAC - A day after Marian University NCAA men's ice hockey (8-14-1, 5-10-1 NCHA) won with 10.7 seconds left, No. 7 Trine scored with 3.6 seconds remaining to defeat the Sabres 3-2.
 
 
	- The Thunder were able to get out to a strong start scoring 8:35 into the game to take an early lead.
 
	- The one-goal advantage held all the way into the third period.
 
	- A strong start to the third period for Marian saw senior Matteo Pecchia score 2:20 in with assists to senior Jaymes Knee and freshman Robert Pizzey.
 
	- Then just 20 seconds later, sophomore Caden Carlson lit the lamp with an assist from freshman Edison Weeks and junior Noah Pickart.
 
	- Trine found an equalizer with 5:03 left and eventually scored the game-winning goal with just 3.6 seconds on the clock.
 
 
 
	- Marian finished with a small 20-18 advantage for shots in the game.
 
	- The Sabres also had a 29-24 edge for face-offs.
 
	- Neither side had a power-play goal with Marian having four chances and Trine two.
 
	- Marian is 1-7-0 against teams in the national rankings.
 
	- The Sabres fall to 4-10-0 all-time against Trine.
