EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Marian University women's volleyball (1-10, 0-0 NACC) was defeated by St. Catherine in four sets; 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, and 25-21.

- Each team had spurts of success in the opening set eventually leading to a 15-15 stalemate.
- The Sabres then scored the next four points to take the lead for good.
- The Wildcats cut their deficit down to 22-20, but Marian was able to score three of the final four points to take the set.
- An early 5-1 run from SCUÂ proved to be the difference in the second set as the Wildcats never trailed.
- Marian was able to cut the lead down to two at 20-18 but SCU put Marian away with a 5-1 run.
- The Wildcats scored the first seven points of the third set and never looked back to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
- Similarly to the second set, SCU went on an 8-1 run early in the fourth to build a 14-6 lead.
- Marian managed to cut the Wildcat lead down to three but couldn't overcome the early spurt.

- The Wildcats hit .221 in the match and had 63 kills to only 42 for Marian.
- The back row saw SCU hold an advantage but by a slim 78-74 margin.
- Marian had at least seven service aces for just the fourth time this season.
- The Sabres have lost all five match-ups against St. Catherine.
