PLYMOUTH, WIS. - Marian University men's soccer (3-4-1, 1-2-0 NACC) scored once in each half to snap a three-game losing streak and beat Lakeland, 2-0.

- The Sabres opened up the scoring column with a goal by freshman Szymon Kielar, assisted by sophomore Jay Wolcott.
- Neither team recorded a shot-on-goal for the remainder of the half, going into the break with a 1-0 Marian lead.
- Junior Tyler Hall stood his ground in the goal, recording three saves in the first ten minutes of the second half.Â
- At 66:16, senior Nathan Blazenko nearly made it 2-0, with his shot attempt hitting the top of the woodwork.Â
- Sophomore JT Sus hit the dagger to close out the game in the final minute, assisted on the play by sophomore Brayden Johnson.Â
- The teams were even in shots at 11 each, but Marian recorded an 8-6 advantage in the second half.
- The Sabres totaled nine corner kicks on the night, compared to the Muskies seven.
- Marian held a 6-2 lead in saves.
- The 2-0 victory marked Marian's first conference road win since Oct. 5, 2022, a 4-3 victory at Dominican.
- The Sabres are 31-11-5 all-time against the Muskies, with this being their first win in the series since 2022.
