FOND DU LAC -
Chloe Fournier has been announced as an assistant coach for the Marian University women's basketball program.
Fournier joins Marian after serving as a graduate assistant for the women's soccer program at Carthage College. During this time she served a major role in the day-to-day operations and recruiting efforts for the program. The Firebirds went 13-14-9 in her two seasons with the program including an 8-6-5 mark in her second season. It marked the first winning season for Carthage since 2017. Carthage was able to qualify for the CCIW Tournament and hosted the opening round but were defeated by Elmhurst on penalty kicks.
"I am extremely excited to join the women's basketball program at Marian University," said Fournier. "There is so much to love about this place, and I can't wait to share my passion for the game with this incredible group of student-athletes. I am looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together with this group."
Her stop at Carthage was her first position at the collegiate level after starting her career at the high school and middle school level. Fournier spent various amounts of time as a head or assistant coach for basketball and track and field during this time.
Fournier earned a Master of Education in Sport Leadership from Carthage in May of 2026 to go with a Bachelor of Science in Physical and Health Education from Western Michigan.
