FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's soccer (1-8-1, 1-5-0 NACC) scored a pair of goals down a man but fell to Illinois Tech 4-2.

- The Scarlet Hawks were able to open the scoring in the 18th minute and Marian would be forced to play a man down just 46 seconds later after drawing a red card.
- The Sabres weren't discouraged by this as Avery Coyle scored at the 20:43 mark with assists from JT Sus and Jack Williams.
- The 1-1 tie lasted only 42 seconds later before the Scarelt Hawks scored once again.
- Illinois Tech scored once more in the 40th minute to lead 3-1 at halftime.
- Most of the second half saw little drama on either end before a Marian own goal gave Illinois Tech a 4-1 lead in the 71st minute.
- Marian was able to show life late when Williams snuck a shot inside the right post off of an assist from Sus.
- The goal came with just 3:43 left and proved to be the final tally of the game.

- Illinois Tech finished with a 22-4 edge in shots and had a 9-2 advantage for shots on goal.
- The Scarlet Hawks also had a 5-2 edge for corner kicks.
- Illinois Tech was called for 10 fouls compared to nine for Marian.
- Marian is now 3-5-1 all-time against Illinois Tech.
