Marian women's ice hockey earns first postseason victory

Box Score 1 LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Marian University women's ice hockey (14-13-0, 9-9-0 NCHA) forced a mini-game defeating Lake Forest 4-3 in overtime for the first postseason win in program history but fell to the Foresters in the mini-game 2-1.

  • Marian once again had a strong start when senior Aubriella Westphal scored with an assist from junior Ella Spies 9:56 into the game.
