Road woes continue for Sabre men's volleyball

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Marian University men's volleyball (3-6, 0-0 NACC) fell on the road at UW-Stevens Point 25-13, 33-31, 25-20.

After opening 6-6, UW-Stevens Point scored 16 of the next 17 points to take the opening set.
The largest lead in the second set was only two points as the two sides went back-and-forth.
Marian was turned away from set-point three times and UWSP five before the Pointers took the marathon set 33-31.
UWSP was able to pull away early in set three jumping out to a 12-4 advantage.
The Pointers led by as many as 12 but Marian was able to stave off four match-point chances.
The Sabres were able to trim the deficit down to four before the Pointers used a kill to finish the match.

UWSP had a 45-33 edge in kills and 46-41 advantage for digs.
The Pointers had eight blocks to only two for the Sabres.
Marian is now 3-2 all-time against UWSP with the Pointers taking the last two meetings.

	Sophomore Adrian Calderon-Castro wetn for a team-high 14 kills.
	Senior Trent Goo Sun had a second straight double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.
	Sophomore Giancarlo Bou had 19 assists and seven digs.
