STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Marian University men's volleyball (3-6, 0-0 NACC) fell on the road at UW-Stevens Point 25-13, 33-31, 25-20.

- After opening 6-6, UW-Stevens Point scored 16 of the next 17 points to take the opening set.
- The largest lead in the second set was only two points as the two sides went back-and-forth.
- Marian was turned away from set-point three times and UWSP five before the Pointers took the marathon set 33-31.
- UWSP was able to pull away early in set three jumping out to a 12-4 advantage.
- The Pointers led by as many as 12 but Marian was able to stave off four match-point chances.
- The Sabres were able to trim the deficit down to four before the Pointers used a kill to finish the match.

- UWSP had a 45-33 edge in kills and 46-41 advantage for digs.
- The Pointers had eight blocks to only two for the Sabres.
- Marian is now 3-2 all-time against UWSP with the Pointers taking the last two meetings.
