GLENDALE, Wis. - Marian University baseball (6-9, 1-3 NACC) was defeated by MSOE 10-5 and 12-1 in eight innings in a NACC doubleheader.

GAME 1
- The Raiders scored a pair of runs in the first, second, and fourth inning to lead 6-0.
- Marian was able to get back in the game with four runs in the fifth spearheaded by a double from junior Marc Jones that plated three runs.
- Freshman Connor Schroeder then scored on an error in the seventh to put Marian behind just one run at 6-5.
- MSOE had an answer after the stretch putting the game away with four runs.
GAME 2
- Marian trailed just 2-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth where MSOE scored seven runs to break the game open.
- Junior Keon Booker hit a solo home run in the top of the eighth to put Marian on the board.
- The Raiders responded in the bottom half of the inning scoring three runs to end the game early.

- Marian was outhit 11-6 in the game.
- Each team had two errors leading to one unearned run for MSOE and two for the Sabres.Â
- Marian was unable to add on runs in the seventh when they had runners on first and third with zero outs.
GAME 2
- The Raiders had 12 hits to only four for the Sabres.
- Marian stranded the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning, the only inning with multiple runners left on base.
- The Sabre defense didn't commit an error, while MSOE had two defensive miscues.
