AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Marian University baseball (3-3, 0-0 NACC) scored eight unanswered runs at one point to defeat St. Vincent College 11-4.

- Marian was able to open the scoring with a run-producing single from junior Marc Jones in the top of the third.
- After the Bearcats tied it in the bottom half of the frame, junior Lucas Lemons gave Marian the lead with a sacrifice fly to open the fourth.
- A single with two outs from sophomore Ayden Kanaman later in the frame put Marian ahead 3-1.
- SVC once again had a response plating a run in the bottom half but Marian then scored eight unanswered runs to build a comfortable lead.
- The stretch started with with a pair of runs in the fifth before a single from sophomore Carter Scott scored a run in the sixth to put Marian ahead 6-2.
- The Sabres took advantage of three Bearcat errors in the eighth to break the game open with four runs.
- A single from junior Danny Santigao plated the final Marian run in the ninth.
- The Bearcats were able to score twice in the ninth to set the final at 11-4.

- The Sabres were outhit in the game by a slim margin of 13-12.
- St. Vincent had five errors leading to five unearned runs for Marian.
- The bottom three hitters for the Sabre lineup had six of the Marian hits and five runs.
- Marian stole six bases, its second-highest total for a single game this season.
- This was the first victory for Marian over SVC after being swept in a twin bill in 2023.
