- A sacrifice fly from junior Jason Sims in the bottom of the first helped cut the Marian deficit down to 2-1.

- GCC continued to add on with a run in the fifth to push the advantage to 8-1.
- Juinor Keon Booker helped cut the Marian deficit in the fifth with a double that scored a pair of Sabres.
- The two sides traded a run in the seventh with Jones driving in a run with a sacrifice fly for Marian.
- A pair of runs from Grove City in the ninth helped settle the final at 11-4.
