WAUKESHA, Wis. - Marian University baseball (12-21, 6-14 NACC) was defeated by Carroll 14-5 in what is currently scheduled as their final non-conference game.

- Sophomore Ayden Kanaman was able to come home in the first inning off of a double play.
- Another sophomore in Carter Scott then drove in sophomore Zach Ennis in the second to give Marian an early 2-0 lead.
- Carroll responded scoring eight unanswered runs to lead 8-2 after five.
- The Sabres battled back scoring three runs in the top of the sixth.
- Freshman Bordy Nolan started the rally with a run-producing single, which was followed by another single by Ennis that brought home junior Marc Jones.
- A sacrifice fly from junior Keon Booker finished the rally as Marian trailed by three.
- The Pioneers were able to pull away, however, scoring the final six runs of the game.

- The Sabres had five errors on the defensive end to only one for Carroll.
- Marian is now 6-7 this season in non-conference games.
- The Sabres were able to steal six bases without being caught.
