MONMOUTH, Ill. - Marian University women's golf set and reset the program record for lowest round with scores of 312 and 310 to win the Fighting Scot Invitational.

 

• The Sabre domination saw Marian take the top four spots on the individual leaderboard along with the team standings.
• Leading the way was Yinan Lu who had rounds of 76 and 72 to earn medalist recognition.
• Lu had five birdies to finish the event just six-over par.
• Katelyn Bucciarelli and Jessy Merrell each tied for second with Bucciarelli carding two rounds of 78 and Merrell a 76 followed by an 80.
• Olivia Schueller had rounds of 82 and 80 to finish the event in fourth.
• Allison Cink was the final Sabre in the Marian lineup finishing in a tie for seventh with rounds of 86 and 84.
• Competing as an individual was Trinity Knudtson who finished tied for 11th after rounds of 90 and 84.
