CANTON, Ga. - Shaelyn Klassen of Marian University field hockey has been named the CFHC Offensive Player of the Week.

Klassen (Calgary, Alberta) had a seven-point weekend to lead Marian to a sweep of DePauw and Wittenberg at home.  She opened the weekend with the second multi-goal game of her career against DePauw.  Her second goal came with just 9:02 left to play and broke a 2-2 stalemate.  It proved to be the game-winning goal as Marian defeated DePauw for the first time in program history.  She then closed out the weekend with a goal and an assist as the Sabres earned a convincing 5-0 win over Wittenberg.  This is the first CFHC weekly award of her career.

Marian remains at home to take on Denison Saturday, September 19 at 11 a.m. to open a Homecoming tripleheader.
