RIPON, Wis. - Marian University men's soccer (0-1-1, 0-0-0 NACC) battled to a 2-2 draw on the road against Ripon in the third installment of the Highway 23 Derby.

- Ripon was able to come out to a hot start and scored just 43 seconds into the game.
- Marian was able to get on the board in the 18th minute when Jay Wolcott scored his first goal of the season with an assist from JT Sus.
- Ripon held a 4-2 advantage in shots and 5-0 edge in corner kicks, but Tyler Hall made three saves to keep the Sabres level at halftime.
- Marian took its first lead of the game when Brayden Johnson scored at 52:13 off an assist from Avery Coyle.
- Ripon responded with a goal of their own at the 65:37 mark, knotting the game at 2-2.
- Coming down to the wire, neither team was able to break the 2-2 stalemate.

- Marian had a 9-8 disadvantage in shots and a 6-5 deficit in shots on goal.
- Ripon held a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
- The Sabres were called for nine fouls compared to five for Ripon.
