SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Marian University women's soccer (0-1-1, 0-0-0 NACC) was defeated 3-1 by Redlands to open its trip to California.

- Marian came out strong in the opening half, outshooting Redlands 8-4 and taking a 1-0 lead on an own goal.
- This lead held heading into halftime.
- The momentum started to shift in the second half when Redlands scored their first goal at the 64:30 mark.
- The Bulldogs were able to take the lead in the 74th minute and set the final at 3-1 scoring for a third time in the second half just 86 seconds later.
- Marian outshot Redlands 13-12 and held a 10-6 advantage in shots on goal.
- Redlands held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
- This was the first meeting between the two teams.
- This was the first action for Marian in the state of California since 2012.
