Biography

2022: Earned his fourth all-conference award after earning second-team honors.  Led the Sabre offense all season long and finished third in the NACC with 36 assists and fourth in the conference with 70 total points.  He recorded at least five points in seven of 15 games with a season-high nine points coming in a win over North Central (Minn.).  In that victory he scored twice with seven assists.  His season-high of five goals came in a defeat at Oglethorpe.  Klotz closes out his career with 125 goals, 16 with a man-advantage, 95 assists, and 220 total points.

2021: Earned all-conference honors for the third time in his career and a spot on the first team for the second time as a Sabre.  He was the fourth-best scorer for the Sabres this season finding the back of the net 18 times with 14 assists for 32 points.  Klotz also had 28 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers on the year, both ranked fourth on the squad.  He had four games with at least four-points including a six-assist game come in a 16-8 win over Concordia Chicago.

2020: Played in all four games making one start.  Scored twice with an assist for a total of three points.  Had a total of 14 ground balls and caused six turnovers.

2019: Earned his second All-MLC selection after being named to the first team for the first time in his career.  Klotz posted another strong offensive season scoring 28 goals with 16 assists for 44 points, 33 of which came in conference games.  He also went on to grab 32 ground balls on the season with nine caused turnovers, and his .438 shot percentage was good for sixth in the MLC this season.  Klotz had multiple points in all but five games this season including three games with at least five points.  Against Northwestern in a come-from-behind win, Klotz was able to score six goals with three coming in each half.  Klotz now has 71 goals in his career to go with 115 total points in just two seasons of action.

2018: Was named the Rookie of the Year for the MLC and earned a spot on the All-MLC second team after leading the Sabres in scoring all season long.  Klotz not only led the Sabres in scoring but proved himself as one of the top scorers in the entire conference.  His first year as a Sabre saw him finish second in the conference with 71 points, third in the MLC with 43 goals and fourth with 28 assists.  Klotz was named the MLC Player of the Week twice during the season and had two games this season where he had double-digit points.  He also scored six goals in a single game twice this season.

High School:  Earned three varsity letters at Farmington High School.  Was an all-conference selection in lacrosse.
