2021-22: Started in all 27 games he appeared in averaging 3.4 points per game with 5.4 rebounds per game.  Had a 10-point performance in a road win over Concordia Wisconsin and had double-digit rebounds in a pair of games.  Paulus also had a block in 15 games with a three-rejection game coming at Wisconsin Lutheran.  Set career-highs for himself with 48 assists and 27 steals.  Three of his steals came against No. 5 UW-Platteville in the NCAA Tournament, and he had a five-assist game at MSOE.

2021: Appeared in all 11 games making 10 starts with 4.4 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game, sixth in the NACC.  Recorded 11 blocks on the season, sixth in the conference, with 18 assists and 11 blocks.  Scored 48 points on the year for a 4.4 points per game average with a season-best 14 points coming in the finale against Edgewood (Jan. 31).  Had a pair of performances with double-digit rebounds with an 11-rebound performance coming against CUW (Feb. 13.).  Had a block in seven games with three of his rejections coming against Wis. Lutheran (Feb. 5).

2019-20: Played in all 25 games making 21 starts with an average of 17.2 minutes per game.  Finished fourth in the NACC with 29 blocks on the season.  Shot 52.9-percent from the field scoring 88 points on the season.  Led the team with 5.2 rebounds per game.  Scored double-digit points twice with a season-high 13 coming at Martin Luther where he also had 16 rebounds for a double-double.  Recorded 10 rebounds in the final two games of the season.

2018-19: Started in five of the 10 games he appeared in averaging 10.8 minutes per game.  Scored a total of 20 points off of .320 shooting from the field.  Grabbed 27 rebounds to go with six blocks and five steals. 

High School: The three-sport athlete earned four varsity letters in both baseball, football, and basketball at Random Lake High School.  Was a captain on both the football and basketball teams and helped lead his baseball team to two conference championships.
