James Goodfellow joins the NCAA men's ice hockey staff as an assistant coach after an illustrious career with Sabre hockey and baseball.

Goodfellow finished in the top 10 in program history for goals, assists, points, power-play goals, short-handed goals, game-winning goals, and hat tricks.  He opened his career earning a spot on the All-MCHA Rookie Team in 2005-06 and the following season was named a First Team All-MCHA selection.  That 2006-07 season saw him score 17 goals with 18 asssits for 35 points.  He was also an assistant captain.  He then served the final two seasons of his career as the captain of the team producing 33 points as a junior.

With the baseball program, Goodfellow finished his playing career in 2009. In his final season, Goodfellow hit .406, second on the team, and led the team in hits (65), doubles (10), triples (3), home runs (5) and RBI (50). He earned All-Northern Athletics Conference accolades as a catcher. Goodfellow ranks in the top-10 for career RBI with 109.
