Amber Yahr joined the Marian men's and women's volleyball coaching staff in September of 2025.
Yahr was a setter for the Sabre women's volleyball program from 2016-2019 competing in 102 matches. She amassed 1,645 assists in her career which ranks seventh all-time in the Marian record books. She also had 88 service aces, 799 digs, and 60 total blocks. In her senior season, Yahr had a career-best 704 assists, 7.4 assists per set, to go with 21 service aces, and 271 digs. Along with her work on the court, her leadership saw her serve as a captain for three years of her career.
Since graduating from Marian in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Yahr spent her time coaching for the Fond du Lac Fusion. Her coaching philosophy is centered around building a competitive and respectful team environment, where student-athletes can develop their skills, character, and confidence on and off the court.
