Junior Andrew Schroeder (Wausaukee, Wis.) had a breakout final week of the season leading the Marian offense.  He hit .571 over four games after going 8-for-14 with a double and a home run.  Schroeder also drove in a run and scored four times.  He had multiple hits in three of the four games he played in with a pair of three-hit games.  In the opener of the CUC doubleheader, Schroeder was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and hit a game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.  He then went 5-for-7 (.714) in the twin bill with MSOE.  Schroeder hit a double in the opener of the doubleheader before going 3-for-3 with a hit by pitch in the second game.  The strong finish lifted his batting average to .323 on the season, second on the squad, while his .527 slugging percentage was good for tops on the squad.
