Senior Lexi Brakebush (Oxford, Wis.) helped lead Marian to its first conference win of the season in the month of December.  No Sabre saw more action than Brakebush as she led Marian in minutes played and averaged 10.8 points per game. She shot an impressive 9-of-19 (.474) from beyond the arc and was second on the team with her 19 rebounds.  Brakebush also led the squad with 12 assists to go with seven steals.  She opened the month with 17 points against Dominican in a road victory where she also had three steals and four assists.  Later that week, Brakebush scored a season-high 18 points against Aurora adding four assists.  She was 6-of-10 (.600) on triples between those two games.  Brakebush currently ranks fourth in the NACC for three-pointers on the season.
