Sophomore Katelyn Matenaer (West Bend, Wis.) closed out the season with a pair of multi-hit games and was named an All-NACC First Team selection.  The Sabres had just two games in May splitting a NACC doubleheader with St. Norbert.  Matenaer went 2-for-4 in both games scoring three times and driving in one run.  The doubleheader gave Matenaer multiple hits in the final five games of the season.  This also capped off an All-NACC season for Matenaer, the first of her career, where the Sabre shortstop hit .441 with 24 runs scored and 13 runs driven in.  She closed out her hitting line for the season with a .483 on-base percentage and a .658 slugging percentage.  Her 49 hits on the season was good for eighth in the NACC, while she was also able to post a .935 fielding percentage on the defensive end.  Matenaer had a hand in five of the 10 double plays Marian recorded on the season.
