Senior Logan Holevas (Lake Villa, Ill.) paced the Sabre offense the first month of the season to earn his first Sabre of the Month award.  The midfielder scored three goals to go with an assist for seven points on the month.  Holevas had two of his goals serve as the game-winner, while his latest goal helped secure a draw at Rockford to earn Marian its first conference point of the year.  He had a five-point week following the season opener earning him a NACC Player of the Week selection.
