Freshman Yinan Lu (Qindao, China) had an historic opening month to her career with the Sabre women's golf program.  Lu averaged 80.9 strokes over nine rounds of action recording four rounds under 80, a feat that had never been accomplished prior to this season.  She earned medalist honors twice during the opening month of ht season and finished inside the top-five three times.  Her best round came at the opening round of the NACC Championship where she carded a 75.  Lu currently sits in first atop the individual leaderboard after the first two rounds of the NACC Championship.  She would earn two NACC Player of the Week awards.
