Rankin reached the milestone with 8:24 to play in the second half as he converted a layup. He became the 14th player in school history to reach the milestone and is now tied for 13th on the all-time scoring list with 1,006 career points. He led the Sabres in the contest with 22 points and 8 rebounds.

The Green Knights largest lead in the first half was seven points as they took a 27-22 lead into the break.

In the second, St. Norbert built a 53-36 lead with 9:30 to play. Marian was able to cut the deficit to 60-54 with 4:39 to play, but could get no closer.

Marian shot 24-for-69 (35%) from the field in the contest, while the Green Knights shot 22-for-45 (49%). The Green Knights held a 38-36 advantage on the boards.

Bryan Ashbeck (Wabeno, WI) added 11 points for the Sabres, while Joel Clark (Ashwaubenon, WI) chipped in with 9 points.
