Sabres fall at home

Box Score (Fond du Lac, WI) - Maranatha Baptist held Marian University to just 24% from the field on Monday evening en route to a 77-55 victory at Sadoff Gymnasium. The Crusaders are now 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the Northern Athletics Conference, while Marian is now 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the NAC.

Marian forced the Crusaders into 35 turnovers, but were out-rebounded 57-36 in the contest and couldn't make up for their poor shooting. The poor shooting included going 5-for-30 from behind the arc.

Marian was led by Brooke Haen (Oakfield, WI), as she scored 16 points. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) added 13 points, while Jordan Dykstra (Cedar Grove, WI) and Amanda Goljenboom (Pickett, WI) added 11 and 10 points, respectively. Becker and Haen both dished out 4 assists.

Defensively, Dykstra recorded 7 steals, while Haen and Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) added 6 and 5 steals, respectively.

The Crusaders shot 50% from the floor and were led by Kristin Morrison's 22 points.
