Box Score (Fond du Lac, WI) - With a 1-0 victory over Maranatha Baptist on Tuesday, the Sabres punched their ticket to the 2010 Northern Athletics Conference Tournament. The postseason berth is Marian's first since the inception of the NAC. The Sabres have earned the number five seed in the tournament and will either play at MSOE or Concordia-Wisconsin on Sunday.

It didn't come easy for Marian (8-8-1, 6-4-1 NAC) in this one. On a very windy night at Smith Fields, the Crusaders out-shot Marian 18-8, but the Sabres first half goal by David Reinke (McFarland, WI) was enough to earn the victory. Reinke's goal in the 36th minute, which was assisted by Luke Peltonen (Fond du Lac, WI), was his fifth of the season. 

Marian's Nathan Thiery (Hartford, WI) made some solid saves in the contest. He totaled eight saves in the contest. 

Marian's eight victories is the most since the 2002 season.
