(Eureka, IL) - Marian University defeated Eureka College 5-1 on Saturday afternoon in a rain-shortened match. The Sabres won five of six singles matches and there were no doubles matches played due to rain. 

Jory Lawson (Wausau, WI) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at \#1 singles. At \#2 singles, Lucas Nieman (Oshkosh, WI) won 6-2, 7-5 for his second victory of the weekend. Kyle Ohland (Beaver Dam, WI) won easily by a score of 6-0, 6-1 at \#3 singles. 

Sam Cripe (Kohler, WI) won an exciting match at \#4 singles. He won 7-6 (7-5), 10-8. Luis Cortes (Oshkosh, WI) finished off singles competition with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at \#6 singles.
