MILWAUKEE - Senior Kyle Leisses of Marian University men's tennis has been selected as an all-conference selection in singles.
Leisses becomes the first Sabre to earn all-conference recognition since 2012 when Jory Lawson capped off back-to-back all-conference honors. He played all of his matches at the top-flight for doubles and singles posting a 3-1 mark on the season in NACC action for singles. After dropping his first No. 1 singles match of the season against WLC, Leisses won his final three NACC matches of the year in two-set victories. Leisses dropped just one game in his victory at Concordia Chicago and earned a 6-3, 6-0 victory against St. Norbert to highlight his season. His victory at CUC was part of a sweep on the day as he also won his No. 1 doubles match 8-0. Leisses concludes his career with a 6-6 singles record with all of those matches coming at the top flight.
