(Ashland, WI) - Todd Collins (Whitby, ON) helped Marian earn the weekend split with Northland College as he recorded a hat trick in Marian's 6-1 victory. With the victory, Marian finishes the regular season 18-7 overall and 15-5 overall. Marian has earned the \#2 seed in the MCHA Tournament as a result of winning the MCHA Northern Division. 

Marian's Brendan Hull (Calgary, AB) scored a power play goal 15:58 into the first to give Marian the 1-0 lead. The Sabres also held the Lumberjacks to just one shot-on-goal in the period. 

The Sabres took over the game in the second period, scoring three times. Richard Hilton (Strathmore, AB), Dakota Dubetz (Chestermore, AB) and Collins all lit the lamp. 

Collins finished the scoring with two goals in the final period. 

Marian out-shot Northland 34-26 and finished 1-for-5 on the power play. 

Matt Williams (Lacombe, AB) finished the game with three assists, while Josh Baker (Canton, MI) stopped 25 shots.
