Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (Kenosha, WI) - The Sabres dropped a pair of non-conference games on Monday at Carthage College. The Red Men won game one 9-1 and then closed it out with a 9-0 victory over the Sabres. Marian is now 13-18 overall.

In game one, Ryan Seifert singled through the right side in the second inning to cut the deficit to 2-1. That's where the game stayed until the fifth as the Red Men exploded for seven runs on six hits.

Neither team scored the rest of the seven-inning contest.

Carthage out-hit Marian 10-6 in game one.

Jake Schaffhauser pitched 4.1 innings and took the loss.

In game two, the Red Men scored in six of the eight innings they hit in. They out-hit Marian 11-5 and Marian committed four errors.

Ryan Hiller paced the Marian offense, going 3-for-4.

Adam Diedrich pitched four innings and gave up two earned runs in the loss.
