KOHLER, Wis. - Marian University men's tennis (2-6, 2-3 NACC) won their second straight match defeating Lakeland 6-3 in NACC action.
The Sabres were able to start the game strong winning two of the three doubles matches. Danny Roe and Joey Dittman were able to combine for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. Lawson MacDonald and Coy Paulson ten won an 8-7 tiebreak by a 10-4 score at No. 2 doubles to give Marian a 2-1 advantage.
Roe secured a perfect day with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles as did MacDonald with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles. Austin Hall was able to earn a No. 5 singles victory at 6-2, 6-3, while Kyle Carignan also earned a victory by a 6-2, 6-3 score at No. 6 singles.
Marian is next scheduled to take on Knox from Beloit, Wis. Wednesday, April 17 at 3 p.m. in non-conference action.
