MILWAUKEE - Marian University women's soccer (7-6-3, 5-4-2 NACC) defeated Alverno 8-0 to open a weekend of non-conference action.

Chelsea King all scored in the opening half. Lezotte secured her first multi-goal game of her career to open the scoring in the second half. Sophomore

Sarah Day followed with goals to put the final at 8-0.
Marian finished with 41 shots and were led by freshman
Ella Morrow and Lezotte who each had six shots. Senior
Brianna Levine (1-0-0) made a pair of saves as she earned a shutout in her first start of the season.
Marian takes on Grinnell in non-conference action tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 23, at 2:30 p.m.
