APPLETON, Wis. - Marian University men's soccer (1-3-0, 0-0-0 NACC) defeated Lawrence 4-1 for its first win of the season.

Max Kauffman scoring just 5:19 into the match with an assist from junior
Giuliano Corazzina. It certainly would not be the last time Corazzina put his name on the score sheet. This 1-0 lead for Marian held up into the half with the Sabres holding an 11-6 edge in shots.
Lawrence was able to rally scoring at teh 61:52 mark to tie the game at 1-1. Corazzina then scored his first goal of the season at the 74:53 mark to give the Sabres the lead for good. Junior

Owen Holevas each earned assists on the lead. Just 2:44 later, Corazzina padded the Sabre lead with an assist from  junior
Isak Olsson. Corazzina capped off the first hat trick of his career with just 1:37 remaining in the game with an assist to freshman
Israel Duran.
The Sabres finished with a 23-15 edge in shots and limited the Vikings to just three shots on goal in the win. Junior
Aaron Perez (1-1-0) earned the first victory of his career making two saves.
Marian travels to Augustana (Ill.) for a 3:30 p.m. non-conference game Saturday, Sept. 10.
