FOND DU L AC - Marian University women's lacrosse (5-6, 0-2 NACC) stumbled at home for the first time this season falling to Aurora 21-1.

  • The NACC preseason favorite, Aurora, held Marian scoreless in teh first half and built a 14-0 lead.
  • The Spartans scored the first four goals of the third quarter.
  • Junior Jazmine Barrios was able to end the shutout scoring with 1:54 left in the third quarter.
  • Aurroa closed out the win with three goals in the fourth quarter.

  • Marian narrowly lost the ground-ball battle by a 21-19 margin.
  • The Spartans also won the turnover battle by a 26-19 margin.

Junior Dallas Kreisa had three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
